Motion with meaning, not motion for its own sake
Animation should explain, not decorate. A short guide to interface motion that earns its keep.
Good motion answers a question: where did that come from, what just changed, what happens next?
Keep durations short and easing natural. If users notice the animation more than the result, it's too much.
And always offer a calmer path for people who'd rather skip the movement entirely.
